I got an email today from Capital One asking me to check my account. So I went in there and saw that I was charged $14.52 in interest, a $15.00 late fee for not paying that interest and then another 50 cents (and so interesting cause I just opened up an article on how 50 cent is the love of Vivica Fox's life) minimum interest charge. What!!!!!! Not again!!!!!!!! So of course I had a temporary anger moment and called Capital One. I told them that last month I had paid off the balance on my credit card which then resulted in a zero balance. So I was shocked to see that I was charged all these fees on a zero balance. The lady looked into it and apologized and said the fees would be eliminated. Phew. Thank you. However, this was unnecessary. I wasted fifteen minutes on this thing including the three minutes it took to write this post plus I suffered a moment of increased blood pressure. I have excellent blood pressure. And no cholesterol and no sugar problems. I would like to keep it that way. Every momentary increase in blood pressure due to unnecessary stress costs 50 dollars. I am going to start keeping a log on all the unnecessary costs I incur. Thank you and have a nice day.
