ok everybody, had to get an oil change and three new tires. old Honda Accord has reached 120,000 miles. oil was so low I had to sign a waiver relieving Walmart of any liability in case something happens to my poor baby:

oil change: $35.88
three new tires: $222 ($74 x 3)
three valve stems: $9.00 ($3.00 x 3)
balancing for three tires: $27.00
ridding old tires: $1.50 per tire
state fees for all three: $3.00

with $18.72 tax, total: $333.57

back on the roooaaadd again.....back on the rooooaaadddd....
