Aloo Poori (Potatoes w fried bread)

boil potatoes, peel and cut. we have six big potatoes here:


warm oil in pot and AFTER the oil is really warm, add cumin seeds cause the flavor of the seeds will come out only if the oil is warm:


add two big karchis (big Indian spoon - so like 1/4th cup) of crushed tomatoes and two teaspoons of salt:


then add a healthy teaspoon and a half of garam masala (coriander and cumin powders) and just a little red mirchi (spice):


also add a green chile!


you can also add some coriander leaves. then mix. we really want a nice flavor:


then add the potatoes and like two cups of water:


forgot to add turmeric, a little less than half a teaspoon:


cover and boil for sometime. It will taste amazing with hot pooris : D
