Shulgum (Turnips)

peel and cut turnips:


put in pressure cooker:


 add oil, a cup of water, salt, turmeric, red mirchi, garam masala:


close pressure cooker and cook on medium:


after 20 minutes or so, open pressure cooker and mash turnips:


add chopped spinach and mix:



cook until water is gone:
