Besan Pooda for Lunch

mix chick pea flour with some water and add chopped spinach and onion, salt, garam masala (coriander and cumin powders) and red mirch (spice). add a lot of the spices because the batter will spread and you need enough throughout the pancake/pooda:


put some oil on the pan (you'll need a decent amount of oil). spread batter on pan and cook on both sides (it will take some time). you can sprinkle some oil on top and around the sides later: 


The Pooda is delicious with Mint Chutney. In a blender, put coriander leaves, mint, onion, green chile and salt:

add veggies, salt and chaat masala:

I like eating my pooda with mint chutney and spicy Indian ketchup : )
