Pakode : )

#pmsinglikecrazy #craving pakode:

make batter: mix besan (chick pea flour), water, chopped spinach, onion (cut long), salt, red mirchi, garam masala and baking powder (just like besan pooda : ). make sure the batter is thick enough. mine came out a little thin this time. 


warm vegetable oil (used canola here) to medium: 


make sure to add a lot of onion


scoop some batter with tablespoon and put in oil. you're supposed to use your hands but I cut my finger in the blender again and it hurts and there's a bandaid on it so I'm using a spoon today.

if the pakodas come out thick, you can cut them in half and cook them again. slicing:

these ones got burnt which means turn the heat down a tad. but I ate em anyway cause I like burnt things:
